Newport v Ebbw Vale in Play-off Semi-final

This is a huge game for both clubs with the winner getting to play in the league play-off final against either Llandovery or Cardiff.  If Newport get the victory, then it will be Llandovery away or Cardiff at home.

A big crowd is expected for this game, so supporters are advised to buy their match tickets on-line or get to the ground early

Earlier in the season Ebbw Vale won a hard-fought game at Newport Stadium with a 20 – 28 scoreline but the Black & Ambers won the return 31 – 25 so we can expect another close game between two evenly matched teams.  The league statistics show that each team has had exactly 446 points and 54 tries scored against them, but Newport lead the tries scored with 122 against 92.

The coaching team has had some tough selection choices to make in several positions but this is the matchday squad for this very important game.
