As part of the preparation for Friday’s game against Swansea the team and management had a social evening at our partners The Health Hut on Usk Way in Newport. They offer a range of protein and nutritional products but also have a restaurant inside the shop that sells healthy food and snacks. Everyone had a meal on Thursday evening and all were very impressed with the food.
JBC Nutrition, the parent company of the Health Hut, have partnered with Newport RFC for the season and fuel our players pre, during and post-match so that they are in the best condition.
Our Strength and Conditioning coach Dr Chris Jones said ‘The evening was a great success and it was great to link up with our partners JBC and the Health Hut. The players were really impressed with the quality of the food which was lean and tasty’.
