As the Indigo Premiership Cup group stages come to a close the 2021/2 welsh league programme starts on December 11th when Newport host Bridgend at Newport Stadium at 14:30. We then head west to Aberavon on December 18th. Our Christmas fixture is at Ebbw Vale on the 27th and we have another away fixture on the New Year Bank Holiday of January 3rd at Swansea.
At the end of the league programme, after we have played the other 11 teams either home or away, the top four qualify for the playoffs (1st home to 4th and 2nd at home to 3rd with the winners playing each other to decide the final champions). For this season there will be no relegation.
Each week there will be one game played on a Thursday evening and this will be shown live on S4C Clic as well as S4C’s Facebook and YouTube pages as well as the WRU Website and Facebook pages.
The online programme opens on December 9th when Swansea visit Aberavon. Our December 27rth fixture at Ebbw Vale is also scheduled to be covered.
