Representatives of Newport RFC were delighted to be invited to the official opening of the newly decorated David Watkins Suite at Rodney Parade. We joined members of David’s family at the ceremony and everyone there thought that the visual tributes were perfect. It is fitting that he is remembered in this way at the venue where he thrilled thousands of spectators and where he achieved so much.
