The club was sad to hear reports of the death of former player Mike Nash. Mike was with Newport for many years during the 1980’s. He made a handful of appearances for the 1st XV but predominantly played for Newport United, who he also captained.
Mike spent most of his playing carer with Usk RFC and also was a prominent figure with them after his retirement from playing.
