On Saturday Newport travel to face a Llandovery side on good form.  The Church Bank outfit have had two good wins, both away, against Merthyr and Carmarthen Quins.  They are third in the league table with nine points from a possible ten. They will be difficult to beat on their home patch as they are always a good balanced team, and their kickers know every inch of the ground.

The Black & Ambers need to get their season on track following two home defeats.  Ebbw Vale and Cardiff both played well to get in front and although we staged amazing come-backs, they both held on to take the spoils. Newport did earn three bonus points which puts them in ninth place in the twelve-team league.
