Newport RFC are pleased to announce that Delme Beddow has joined the Board of Directors of the club. A lifelong supporter of the Black & Ambers, Delme brings a wealth of business experience with him.
Delme said ‘I am a long standing supporter of Newport RFC dating back to Newport Athletic Club days. I started out standing on the Argus Terrace with my Father, then moved up market and crossed over to the Hazel Terrace before moving to the Bisley Stand and then Newport Stadium in recent years with my wife and son. I have made many friends at the club and experienced some truly memorable games along the way’.
A Friends of Newport Rugby Trust supporter from day one, Delme has also sponsored many of our publications including the Hall of Fame and match programmes as well as being a cup final kit sponsor.
Delme has 30 years account management and director level experience in the design and print industry, where he has overseen and delivered projects for both the public and private sector clients.
Delme has already joined the Board and started to contribute to the running of the club, where he joins existing directors Will Godfrey, Dennis Bennett, Dave Griffiths, Mark Workman, Kev Jarvis and Mike Frost.
