At the Newport RFC 150th anniversary awards ceremony there was one person who stood head and shoulders above everybody else with his achievements.
Our captain picked up three of the Player of the Month awards and then went on to claim the Players’ player award, Coaches’ player award and finally, the coveted, Tommy Vile Supporters Player of the Year. A clean sweep of the three major awards.
Ben hardly misses a game for the club and has so far played 95 times in Black & Amber scoring 33 tries along the way. Here’s to many more!
