Following the superb win over Llandovery the Newport squad now focus on Aberavon. The Wizards started the season well with a home win against Bridgend and last weekend were ahead at half-time against a strong Ebbw Vale outfit before making mistakes as Ebbw piled on the pressure. They will prove difficult opponents as the Black & Ambers try to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The coaching team must be pleased with the performances in the two games played but will be faced with some tricky decisions when selecting the matchday 23. Will they make changes or will they go with a winning team. There could be some injuries after Saturday so that situation could come in to the equation too.
Team will be selected following fitness checks at Thursday’s training session.
