During the match against Cardiff on Friday a ceremonial cheque was handed to Newport Chairman Mark Workman from the Friends of Newport Rugby Trust.
Secretary Dai Hobbs and Treasurer Simon Mann presented the cheque for a whopping £18,000. This is the proceeds of the player sponsorship and match programme adverts that FoNR coordinate on behalf of the club.
The Trust are a huge financial benefactor to the Black & Ambers, as well as their tremendous volunteer efforts.
The Board of Directors, Management Team, Coaches and Players all thank FoNR, their volunteers and members for their efforts.
