David came through the ranks at Monmouth School and was quickly identified as a potential talent by The Dragons. He joined Newport whilst in the Dragons Academy for the start of the 2018/19 season and then regularly appeared at fullback for the black and ambers. Man of the match in the 2022 cup final win and now a full time Dragons player who regularly still turn out for Newport RFC.
