Newport RFC are pleased to announce the signing of outside half Tommy Price from Cardiff Met University. The promising No.10 has previously trained with the club while we monitored his development.
Head coach Ty Morris commented, ‘Tommy has been applying his trade at Cardiff Met during the past few seasons, so we invited him along to a few training session last season and instantly noticed his big appetite to develop. His personal training programs are as good as any professional I’ve seen. He is extremely dedicated and physically very fit. We are really looking forward to working with Tommy this year to progress his rugby development. I’m sure with his drive and dedication we can expect to see a big future for this young outside half.’
Newport are currently awaiting guidance from the WRU on when full training in preparation for matches can begin.
