Newport have strengthened their midfield by signing promising young centre Harri Griffiths from Cardiff University. The strapping young centre had a fine season for the university side and is now stepping up the ladder to the Indigo Premiership.
Ty Morris was delighted to get his man after interest from other teams in the locality. ‘Harri is a tall athletic player who impressed us late in the season with his professional attitude and his athleticism. A regular for Cardiff University at 13 he is also capable of playing on the wing giving us further options behind the scrum.’
