Newport are thrilled to add the very experienced tight-head prop Dan Suter to their squad. Dan has played regional rugby for both The Ospreys and Dragons before playing in New Zealand and winning the Lochore Provincial Cup with South Canterbury.
More recently Dan has been playing for Doncaster Knights in the English Championship but has recently returned to Wales where he will compete with the likes of Tom Piper, Louis Jones and Garin Harris for the important No.3 jersey.
Ty Morris is pleased to add such quality to the squad, ‘It’s always hard to find a strong scrummaging tight-head, so we are pleased to be able to secure Dan’s services. He has top level experience with Welsh Regions and also Doncaster. We are looking forward to Dan passing his experiences on to others in our already strong scrummaging front row.’
