Newport will be looking for a rare double over Ebbw on Sunday.  Our Valley neighbours have slipped from their position around the top of the league for the last few seasons and will be determined to start regaining that position with a win at Rodney Parade.  The suffered a defeat to Cross Keys last time out and they would admit that they haven't clicked into gear this season.

The Black & Ambers will have mixed feelings after last week's loss against Pontypridd.  Not many teams are going to score seven tries at Sardis Road and not come away with a win.  Of course the problem was that our host scored seven tries too and scraped a win b y two points.

Newport again ring the changes with the whole pack changed except for Morgan Burgess and Nicky Boyce.  Captain Rhys Jenkins makes a welcome return. Haydn Simons and Tom Pascoe come in to make up a dangerous looking back line.

The replacements see a very welcome return for John Lavender, Dan Partridge and Elliot Frewen.  Let's hope that all three come through unscathed.

Newport: Nicky Boyce, Henry Palmer, Garin Haris, Adam Brown, Joe Bartlett, Morgan Burgess, Kyle Tayler, Rhys Jenkins (c), Ryan James, Haydn Simons, Adam Sabri, Tom Pascoe, Chay Smith, Haydn Palmer, Geraint O'Driscoll.

Replacements: Will Evans, John Lavender, Ken Dowding, Dan Partridge, Alex Everett, Ryan Bates, Elliot Frewen, Andrew Evans.

Kick off:  2:30 PM
