One of oldest surviving 1st XV players Roy Taylor has sadly died. In June he celebrated his 90th birthday. Roy played for the first, United and Extras who he captained for 3 seasons. He had the distinction of once playing for all three teams in one week. He was later chairman and life member of Newport Athletic Club. Newport Rugby Football Club send their condolences to Hazel and the family at this sad time.
