NEWPORT are able to name an unchanged starting XV for the first time this season for tonight’s Premiership encounter at Llanelli.
The Black and Ambers will take to the field at Parc y Scarlets with the same side that beat Swansea 32-21 at Rodney Parade on March 31.
“It’s nice to be able to have some continuity and it’s also nice to reward a good performance,” said head coach Sven Cronk. “This season has been frustrating but we have a real determination to finish strongly and end it as high up the table as we can. Swansea was a really good performance and a really good win. Hopefully we can build on that and notch another one against a strong Llanelli side.”
Newport head into the game looking to stretch away from Swansea and Pontypool beneath them while Llanelli would climb into a playoff spot with victory.
